The purposes of the Health Systems Management (HSM) program are to prepare graduates who are able to understand current and future healthcare industry trends and issues; to develop, communicate and manage resources, and develop solutions to challenges for healthcare systems; and to improve overall quality and outcomes of healthcare systems and services.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
  • Rapidly growing program that fits the needs of healthcare organizations in current and future healthcare landscapes

  • Several courses within the major are online, with some being hybrid (50% - 99%)

  • Students participate in a semester long internship the final semester before graduation

  • This is a four year degree; may be expedited to three years by year around attendance

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • Total semester hours required to graduate: 120 hours

  • Completion of all courses, major and prerequisites, with a ā€œCā€ or better
  • Must maintain university appropriate GPA of 2.0 or better
